Hi, I am Kristie Butler. I have two daughters, Kayla (Junior) and Madison (7 th grade), in band. I am a Licensed Psychologist for
Mansfield ISD. After participating in high school and college band myself, I have thoroughly enjoyed being a “band mom” and being
involved in chaperoning, volunteering, and most recently being Co-Director of Volunteers on the MHSTBB board. I also love being the
photographer and taking pictures of the band.

I am the mom of 2 and a 1st grade teacher for MISD. This past year I served as the co-volunteer coordinator and loved every minute of it. I helped at several competitions, games, and other events. I love being a band mom and look forward to being a part of this organization for another year.
Vice President: Rayna Smith
Hello, I have 2 previous MHS students; one was in band, the other was in football. With my first student his freshman year, I served the boosters by feeding the band at games and competitions. I volunteered for everything that I could. In the past I have served on the board as Parliamentarian. I has also served as lead for many committees. This year I fed the band at all competitions. I am running for Vice President and would love your vote so I can continue to serve our mighty Tiger band and amazing kids we have.

The 22-23 school year will be my 6th consecutive year as an MHS Band Booster serving in various capacities. I have taught for 27 years and currently teach 6th grade at Mary Orr Intermediate.
My husband and I have 4 children - three have graduated from MHS and the last one will be a senior next year. I look forward to another great year in Tiger Band!

I am a wife and a mom of a former MHS trumpet player and a current MHS trombone/piano player. Tim and I love supporting the Tiger Band! For the role of Assistant Treasurer, I received my Accounting degree from Texas A&M University. (WHOOP!) Looking forward to another great year with the MHSTBB and the Tiger Band!

I’m very organized and like to get things accomplished early.
I feel that I can bring my “Monk” like personality to this position and
help continue the great tradition of including lots of parent
involvement.

I am married with 6 kids. I am a stay-at-home mom and I help with our
construction company when needed. I love to help others with
whatever the need may be. I am a hard worker and can be creative
every now and then. I look forward to working with the other board
members to make the next school year great.

I’m a Preschool teacher and I have a daughter in 9th and a son in 11th. They are both in band! I’ve been the chaperone coordinator this year and I have loved it. I’m looking forward to helping on the board.

I’m a pre-K teacher and mom of a 9th and 6th grader (who is also in
band). I’ve loved chaperoning games and contests this past season and
I’m looking forward to helping out on the board.

Joe Salinas
Hi my name Joe Salinas, I am peyton’s dad. I work for a
pharmaceutical company in the accounting dept for over 10yrs. Our
other child Derian was a recent graduate of Mansfield high. I am
married to Jessica over 20 something yrs, she is amazing graphic
designer and continues to impress me with her skills.
Buster Humphries
I was a trumpet parent for 8 years and now a guard parent. I've been semi/load crew lead from 2014-2020. I have helped design and build props. 2019-2020 I was on the board as Member-at-Large.
Color Guard Liaison: Kristy Craig
Mother of three kids plus three dogs. Loves to help out when I can,
read, watch movies, and cross stitch. Excels at being short
Member-at-Large: Jennifer Smeby
Connor is my third and final band kid! Over the past seven years as a band booster, I have served on numerous committees, chaperoned games, competitions, and trips, and volunteered at our fundraising events.
I helped establish, and currently coordinate, the Mansfield Market Vendor Fair each spring. I have served the past two years as member at large on the board.
I have been a teacher for more than twenty years, and currently teach private pre-k at St. Vincent’s Academy. My husband, Darrick, is an IT director at Mouser. Our oldest son, Tyler (trumpet, 2019) will graduate
from UNT in May and will attend the police academy as a cadet for the Arlington PD. Our second son, Ryan (alto sax, 2021) is in his first year at the University of Houston.
